The home theatre systems have become a common device in the houses because of the ability of the devices to change the home to a theatre, especially while watching movies. Pioneer has introduced a device with advanced technicalities and contemporary looks and it is the new Pioneer 360W Home Theatre.
The device has a DVD player in it. The supported play back formats of the system are DVD-Video, DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, CD-R/-RW, SVCD, VCD, MP3, WMA, JPEG & DivX. The number of discs playable is 1. The sound effect similar to a theatre is produced by the Dolby Digital & DTS Surround effects supported by the unit. The Dolby Pro Logic Surround, Dolby Pro Logic Surround II are the supporters for the DVD, CD and USB audio playback.
This Pioneer home theatre system gives out a power of 360 Watts. FM or AM with 20 preset stations are available in the system by the RDS tuner. The system supports action, drama, rock, pop, and hall & lives surround modes. The video D/A converter of the device are 108 MHz/12-bit. Bass/treble tone control is possible in the device. Channel level control is also possible in this device.
The HDMI terminal, USB terminal, analogue audio output, video output and Euro-SCART are provided in this home theatre. 4 satellite speakers, 1 centre speaker and 1 down firing sub woofer are the sound support devices of the Pioneer 360W Home Theatre System. The required power consumption for operation and standby are 45 Watt and 0.5 Watt respectively. Power supply is internal and the required voltage is AC 230V. An infrared remote control is available with the system.
Amplifier output details of the speakers are 60 Watt- 4 Ohm-at 1 kHz – THD 10% – 2 channel and the sub woofer is 60 Watt, 4 Ohm- at 100 Hz – THD 10% – 1 channel. The dimensions and weight of the centre speaker is 22 cm x 10 cm x 9 cm and 0.7 kg. The dimensions and weight of the other 4 speakers are 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm and 0.54 kg. The provided sub woofer has 22.1 cm x 39 cm x 40.2 cm dimensions and 5.5 kg weight.
