The new 6-piece Philips HTS-3555 Theatre System has been introduced in the stores off late and it come with Dolby 5.1 Surround sound. Compatible file formats of the product are DVD, WMA, DivX, MP3, CD etc. Lively audio effects can be enjoyed as the unit comes with 4 satellite speakers, 1 centre channel speaker and 1 external sub-woofer.
Connectivity
USB interface has been featured in the unit which is useful for playing audio files and image files. A dock has been integrated which allows you to connect as well as charge iPod and other portable devices. Philips HTS-3555 Home Theatre Surround Sound System comes with various video outputs namely HDMI, component, S-Video and composite. You can even use mp3 line-in. Philips HTS-3555 5.1 Theatre System is available in the market with a video 12-bit D/A converter. Progressive scan feature helps in procuring pictures on the screen at single pass which offers more clarity and quality for the displayed images. You can watch movies with high definition and the device can support TV resolutions like 720p and 1080i. You can watch videos in some supportive compression formats like DivX 3.11, DivX 4.x, DivX 5.x, DivX 6.0, DivX Ultra, MPEG1 and MPEG2. It supports NTSC video disc playback system too. Some of the image enhancement features are slideshow with audio, flip photos, zoom and rotate.
